On average, every 8 sq. of roofing material tear-off (shingles/felt/nails/etc.) weighs 1 ton. Ask the hauler about weight issues but that would add up to 3.75 tons. In a 30 yard dumpster that would be about 60 sq.

It depends on the size of the squares.
The company Waste Management offer a dumpster service for a variety of dumpster size (from 20 to 40 yard dumpsters). For example, in zip code 15482, a 20 Cubic Yard dumpster costs $818 and a 30 Cubic Yard dumpster costs $884 (both base prices).
20 yard is the smallest they will deliver in my area. Its more than you need. If you have a landfill close you can fit what you have on a 16' trailer if you have 4' plywood on the sides.
There is no answer. A square is area. A yard is linear.

Depends on the width of the material.
An empty 30 yard dumpster typically weighs around 3,000-5,000 pounds, depending on the materials used in its construction.

The standard size range offered in dumpster rentals is 20, 30, and 40 yards. You can read more at www.graham-companies.com or www.dumpster.com Dumpster rentals are usually offered in 10, 15, 20, 30 & 40 yard units. A "yard" is a cubic yard, or three feet by three feet by three feet. The rental company can advise you which size would be best for your project. Keep in mind, too, that some companies have restrictions with regard to what can be placed in the dumpster. Some companies, for example, will allow yard waste only if the entire dumpster is to be used for yard waste. You cannot mix construction debris with yard waste, for example.
