It sounds like you have a pretty good chance of having twins! Congrats!
Twins run majorly in my family t00! I really want a set of twins, I've only had one baby so far so it should be my next pregnancy that I get the twins! In my family its every second girl on my mom's side and on my dad's side too so I have a major chance of twins! they are always the second pregnancy, and always 1 boy and 1 girl! I'm not sure maybe we just drop eggs easy r something! I'm naming my twins Zara (pronounced Zar- uh) and Zachary (Zac 4 short). Oh yah and I was a twin!
There are not yet any prooved calculation about it, because it is not related to gens or DNA, a chance that only God knows. you can get twin if : 1.you produce more than one ovums/ eggs at your ovulation, and sperms made into all of it. 2. when zygot split (after sperm combined to ovum/eggs) into 2 then 4, 8 and 16 parts, and there are more than one parts placed in your womb (which is mostly only one part), this is called identical twin (same sex, face and even finger print). 3. implant. during implantation, usually more than 2 fertilized eggs put at woman's uterus, but most and mostly only 1 eggs success. 4. if your family has a genetic ability to produce more than one ovum at one ovulation period, but this theory has not enough real proof... Some external method like eat yams, breastfeeding during pregnancy, fertility drug and treatments, be older when you get pregnant are still bilieved to increase the chance of twin.
The fact that twins run in families is actually a myth. The odds of twins having twins is the same as a non-twin having twins. That is about 1 in 33.
About 1 in 5 million
not very likely
The odds are 75 percent.
If one is expecting twins and is wanting to know the odds of twins being two girls the probabilities are that one would have about a 25% chance. It is stated that there is a 50% chance of having one of each or a 25% chance of having twin boys.
well it might be that every other generation has twins, and your not in the generation but your kids will be twins because YOUR generation was skipped
From what i know, if your twins are identical then you have no increased chance of having twins a second time. If your twins are fraternal, you are twice as likely to have twins again because fraternal twins are the result of more than egg being released and that is a genetic trate.
About 1 In 1000 Unless you have twins
Heterozygous parents have the same odds of identical twins as the general population. Identical twins do not run in families and, therefore, twinning is not related to genetics. Comparisons among different ethnic groups rule out an ethnic cause-no difference. Only mother's age correlates with twinning: the older the mother, the greater the likelihood.
Not necessarily you could be having twins and they don't have to be identical.
So So
No, the likelihood of having twins is not genetically influenced by an uncle being a twin. The chances of having twins are influenced by factors like maternal age, family history of twins, and assisted reproductive technology.
