Hello: Your best bet is to watch the gun auction websites for parts or non-working parts rifles that have the parts you need. Be aware that Savage made several variations of the Model 3. And parts between the variations don't always interchange. Savage also market Model 3 variants under the Stevens and Springfield maker name (both owned by Savage). It took me 2 years to find bolt parts for my early Model 3.
In today,s market it will bring between 175-350 dollars, depending on the caliber/gauge combination and overall condition of your Savage.
I have two Savage semi-autos. Although the long recoil action guns are very reliable and wonderful shooters, they have almost no re-sale value in today's market. Mine are both in 90% condition, and I bought them for under $200.00 each. Remington model 11 parts interchange with a lot of the model 720, 745, 755A and 775A parts.
In good shape-new, around six hundred bucks
The Savage 440B 12 gauge over and under shotgun is valued at $700 in excellent condition. In fair condition, it is valued at $300.
