Would 85 mg of Ativan be fatal?

Yes, it would cause respiratory depression, that is unless you weigh 1000 pounds and have a bowl of benzodiazepines for breakfast each morning. 2 mg of Ativan makes me sedated and I have a tolerance to the stuff, so 50 times that dose... yeah you'd just stop breathing.

i took 90 mg of ativan. didn't kill me. or i wouldn't be writing this. i wouldn't recommend anybody to try to though. if you're trying to commit suicide. look at other ways first. this way wont kill you. I've done tried it twice. once with just 45 and the other when i got out of the hospital i took another 90. so there were 135 mg in my system
