My 95 Bonneville was doing this 2 years ago. All the forums said it was the PCM (engine computer) but I had difficulty believing it. I tested the alternator several times, removed all relays and fuses except for the ignition switch, and it would still happen.
I went and bought a new PCM, swapped in my eprom, and havent had any difficulty since.
