It's either not JFK, or not a quarter.
Washington is on the quarter. A 1967 quarter is worth 25 cents.
JFK is on the half dollar. A 1967 half still had some silver in it (40%) and is worth about $3.00 as of 04/2009.

The first Kennedy halves were minted in 1964. U.S. coins NEVER carry the image of a president while they are in office.

The Franklin half dollar was produced between 1948 and 1963. Please check your coin again. For the value of a 1937 LIBERTY half dollar, see the answer on WikiAnswers for the question "What is the value of a 1937 US half dollar?"
There are only a few known Kennedy Half Dollars struck on planchets intended for SBA Dollars. This is an extremely rare error coin, and like most extremely rare error coins, there is no price guide for them. The only way to determine a price is by experience in actually selling them. There is an online error coin dealer with a 1980-P Kennedy Half Dollar Struck on an SBA Dollar Planchet in a PCGS AU-58 holder for sale for $3,500 here : http://mikebyers.com/errorskennedyhalves.html Since your coin is a considerably higher grade, I would think it would have to be worth at least twice that much. I suggest you contact Mike Byers to get a more exact appraisal of your coin. Contact info can be found here : http://mikebyers.com/contact.html Good Luck! Dan
John F. Kennedy's portrait replaced Ben Franklin's on the US Half Dollar in 1964. Earlier half dollars depicted "Miss Liberty".
