man At 10,000 it gets complicated because they count in 10,000s instead of thousands. So for 100,000 they say 10 10,000s or ju-man.

1,000,000 is one hundred 10,000s or hyaku-man. Because the money system is in yen (10,000 yen equals about $85), big numbers are used really often, and they get pretty confusing.
