==new answer== Yes. the School of Metaphysics has been involved in doing serious research into mind since the early seventies. they have a group of interested people who are not students under the School of Metaphysics Associates. There may be others as well, but I am personally familiar with som. They are responsible for discovering the universal language of mind, there are readers of the akashic records there, and you will find many now practicing what had been kept secret for many centuries. They also have agroup of interested people involved in the Society for Intuitive Research.
