It depends where you are going to school for your degree. For example, I didn't need any college math courses for my BSN, but you do need to be able to do drug calculations, which is mostly multiplication. I would check with the school you are planning to attend

In high school, you should take the full series of math available to you. Algebra is critical to the daily work of a registered nurse. Geometry, probability and statistics, and calculus are also helpful.

This varies from school to school. Generally you need your core classes of English, Math, and Psychology. You will also take a Anatomy and Physiology or something close to that name. There are some medical terminology courses and then finally clinicals.
