I keep my dog's food in a 5 gallon bucket. It holds a full 20 lb bag of Pedigree. I would expect that a 6 gallon would hold around 24 or 25 lbs.
No animal should live in a bucket. I recommend buying a couple gallon plastic tank. Put sand, water, food, etc. On average they can live for 6 months in a bucket. But, they will probally kick the bucket soon.
Well a 10 GAL. tank is big anough a five gallon tank is to small because your critter needs room to run and thereneeds to be room for food and water bowl and hide out.
mop bucket
Between five and eight miles per gallon for a loaded truck.
It depends on a few things...like how much you want and when you want it. If you need a REALLY small amount, like the amount that'll fit in a five-gallon bucket, try your local Walmart. The one here in town has a whole aisle of "emergency food" in big cans, five-gallon buckets and other family-size containers. If you need a smallish amount, like a pallet of 50-pound bags of wheat, try a feed store. For one truckload, call the local grain elevator. But if you can deal with 200,000 pounds of the commodity, call a futures broker and buy a futures contract.

I would try first grow him accustomed to the bucket being around. Try playing the 'friendly game' and rubbing the bucket all over him. Then give him a treat, then bring your hand closer to the bucket, and when he moves his nose closer to the bucket give him another one and then put the other treats in the bucket. Try doing this a few times and he should grow used to having the bucket their and he'll learn that the bucket is a source of food and treats.
