The smallest breed of wolves is the 70 pound 32 inches tall red wolf. These wolves are endangered because people destroy forests which is where they live and they build on their territory. Some red wolves are mating with coyotes. Only 300 live in the world today, about 80 of them are in the wild.

there are many ways to measure strength and weakness, the Dire wolf existed for hundreds of thousands of years, it was around at the same time as the grey wolf, it was bigger and stronger than the grey wolf but in the end the dire wolf became extinct but the grey wolf is still around, just the same as it was ten thousand years ago. so the weakest wolf is a dead wolf.
