When multiplying any number by 10, 100, 1000 (basically any #1 followed by zeros) just count the number of zeros. The number of zeros present is how many spots the decimal moves to the left.

For example

3.5 X 10 = 35

24.5 X 100 = 2450

So the answer would be

2.45 X 10 = 24.5
