∙ 14y agoThe center of the rectangle to the corner of the rectangle is the radius of the circle. That can be found using the distance formula
sqrt((5/2)^2+(12/2)^2) = 6.5 = r
5/2 is half the height of the rectangle and 12/2 is half the height of the rectangle.
radius = 6.5

The answer will depend on the units used for the measurement of the radius: 5 WHAT? It is trivially simple to draw 12 circles, each with a radius of 5 millimetres.
The circumference of a circle of radius 5 is about 31.42
A circle with a radius of 5 units has a circumference of 31.42 units.
The radius of the circle works out as 5 units

It's not a circle if it's radius of 5 degrees. If it's 5 cm radius, then 12 circles.
A circle with a radius of 5 units has a circumference of 31.42 units.
If the circle is inscribed in the square, the side length of the square is the same as the diameter of the circle which is twice its radius: → area_square = (2 × 5 in)² = 10² sq in = 100 sq in If the circle circumscribes the square, the diagonal of the square is the same as the diameter of the circle; Using Pythagoras the length of the side of the square can be calculated: → diagonal = 2 × 5 in = 10 in → side² + side² = diagonal² → 2 × side² = diagonal² → side² = diagonal² / 2 → side = diagonal / √2 → side = 10 in / √2 → area _square = (10 in / √2)² = 100 sq in / 2 = 50 sq in.
The radius of the circle works out as 5 units
Equation of circle: x^2 +y^2 = 12x-10y-12 Completing the squares: (x-6)^2 +(y+5)^2 = 49 So center of circle is at (6, -5) and its radius is 7 units
The radius of the circle is the length between the middle of the circle and any of the sides. It is also half the lenght of the diameter.
A circle with a radius of 5 units has an area of 78.54 square units.
