∙ 10y agoAcceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change) = (0 - 20)/0.4 = -50 miles/second2
That rate of acceleration is roughly 8,200 G's, which I'm sure the passenger
would undoubtedly notice, and would not enjoy one bit. And if you think that
HE would be bent out of shape, you should not even LOOK at the tree!
The reason for that ridiculous number is the fact that before he hits the tree,
you've got him going at roughly Mach 93.8 ! ("20 miles per second")

∙ 10y agoThere is no acceleration if the car is travelling at a steady 54,000 miles per hour.
His acceleration is minus fifty m/s/s, or ~ 5.5g.Highly survivable if he is wearing his seat belt.
The sprinter's acceleration is 2 meters per second squared.
(change in velocity)/(change in time)=avg. acceleration (-30 m/s)/(15s)= -2 m/s2
Solve this in two steps. First, find the acceleration as (difference of speed) / time. Second, use Newton's Second Law to find the force (F=ma, that is, force = mass x acceleration).

1.2 divided by 2 seconds equals .6m/s... i think. acceleration without speeding is when you're going in circles, but you feel like you're going faster.
20 miles per second / 10 seconds = 2 miles per second ^ 2

-6.667 miles per second squared
The acceleration of the car can be calculated using the equation: acceleration = change in velocity / time taken. The change in velocity is 30.0 m/s - 25.0 m/s = 5.0 m/s. The time taken is given as 10.0 seconds. Plugging these values into the equation gives an acceleration of 0.5 m/s^2.
To calculate acceleration between 6 and 9 seconds, you need to find the change in velocity during that time interval and then divide it by the time taken. The formula for acceleration is acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity) / time. Plug in the velocities at 6 seconds and 9 seconds into the formula to get the acceleration.
In freefall, an object's velocity at a certain time can be calculated using the equation v(t)=a*t Where a=acceleration. On Earth's surface, acceleration due to gravity is equal to 9.8 m/s^2
