To find the horizontal distance the soccer ball traveled before hitting the ground, we can use the projectile motion equations. The horizontal component of the initial velocity is ( v_x = 26 \cos(30^\circ) ) and the vertical component is ( v_y = 26 \sin(30^\circ) ). The time of flight can be calculated using the vertical motion equation, and then the horizontal distance can be found by multiplying the horizontal velocity by the time of flight. The total distance traveled by the ball is approximately 34.5 meters.

What are the terms in playing kite tag?

Kite tag is a variation of tag played outdoors, where players use kites to "tag" each other by flying them into the designated area of another player's kite. The main terms include the "tagger," who tries to tag others, and "runners," who avoid being tagged. Players must maintain a safe distance while flying their kites to avoid tangling. The game typically ends when all players are tagged or after a set time limit, with the last untagged player often becoming the next tagger.

What are the rules of the AFL?

well, as an Australian who loves her AFL, i feel obliged to answer...but i don't think i can list ALL the rules. I can, however, give you the basics. there are umpires who run the length of the field and referee the game, awarding free kicks and throwing the ball in from the boundary back into play if the ball is kicked out of bounds. There are also goal umpires who stand between the posts to determine whether or not an attempt at goal was successfull. the aim of the game (assuming you don't know, sorry if you do) is to kick an oval-like shaped ball through the posts to score goals. The goals are the rwo middle posts out of four posts in a line at each end of the ground facing the field. As if from one end of the line of posts, there are a small one, then 2 tall ones in the middle (the main target), then another small one. a ball kicked between a small and a tall post is only worth a behind, or 1 point. a ball kicked between the 2 middle taller posts is called "a goal" and is worth 6 points. the ball must be kicked through the posts without touching anyone after foot cantact is made with the ball. If it is thrown, punched or touched on its way through any of the posts, it is worth only 1 point. The ball can only be carried for a maximum of about fifteen steps before it must then be bounced on the ground or given off to another player either by a kick or a handball (basically the ball is punched out of a players hand and into anothers). if a player fails to give off the ball in the maximum time, that player is 'pinned' or caught holding the ball and the opposing team is awarded a free kick. if a player drops the ball or throws the ball, a free kick is also awarded to the opposing team. if the ball is kicked anything over 15 metres and is caught by another player, that is called a mark. if a mark is taken the player that caught the ball cannot be tackled or have the ball taken from him. however is he has the ball in his possession for over 30 seconds, the umpire calls play on and that player can be tackled by an opposing player and must release the ball or run with the ball before that can occur. when a player is taking a mark, an opposing player can stop him by punching the ball away from the marking players fists or attempt to mark the ball himself. a player moving to take a mark CANNOT be pushed in the back by an opposing player. if he is, he is awarded a free kick. a player may leap onto another players back or shoulders in order to take a hanger or a 'specky' which is a mark in mid air, well off the ground. if a player tackles another player and hits him above the shoulder, a free kick is awarded to the player that was 'hit high'. There is also no tripping allowed or holding another player back by the arms. if a player is running with the ball and is legitimately tackled and taken to ground, the player is 'pinned' with the ball and the player who did the tackeling is awarded the ball. The only protective gear to be worn by an AFL player apart from a football boot which goes without saying is a mouth guard. there are no helmets or padding involved despite the fast pace and pretty hard tackles. these are the basic rules. but if you are after technical rules and all that, i would suggest going down to your local library or read on the internet a book called 100 Years of AFL which will have ALL the information you need. it came out in 2005. hope this LONG message/answer helped! :)

What was the fewest number of years a player played in te nbs before retirement?

The fewest number of years a player spent in the NBA before retirement is one year. This has occurred with several players who entered the league, played a single season, and then decided to retire, often due to personal reasons, injuries, or a lack of playing time. Some notable examples include players like Daniel Gibson and others who had brief careers.

What color is positive and negative when installling a Kenwood CD player into a Peugeot 106 phase 2?

All you have to do is turn on the car into ignition area and grab a voltage meter. Find positive first, to do this, find a good ground spot on your vehicle, such as a screw or metal, than with the red meter wire, go around til you find one that makes the volt meter go up... that is your power wire. Now, go from that wire, and check for your ground wire. Hold the positive wire onto the positive spot on your vehicle, and use the black wire to check until the meter goes up, that is your ground. Now you are done.

What does the word 'steal' and 'slide' mean?

These are terms from baseball. To 'steal' is to advance one or more bases in a situation where the ball has not been hit: where someone has mishandled the ball, or during a pitch. A 'slide' is what players use when as a base runner they approach a base guarded by a defending player who has or is expected to shortly have the ball. If the defending player touches the runner before he touches the base, the runner is out, so the runner slides, usually foot first, toward the base, in an effort to get past the defender before he can be tagged.

A player kicks a soccer ball from ground level and sends it flying at an angle of 30 degrees at a speed of 26 ms. How far did the ball travel before it hit the ground Round the answer to the nearest m?

To find the horizontal distance the ball travels before hitting the ground, you need to calculate the time it takes for the ball to reach the ground. Use the equation: time = (2 * initial velocity * sin(angle)) / acceleration, where acceleration due to gravity is -9.81 m/s^2. Once you find the time, multiply it by the horizontal velocity component (26 m/s * cos(30°)) to determine the total distance. The ball would travel approximately 63 m before hitting the ground.

Does a player have to have two feet on the ground in basketball to constitute possession of the ball?

No. You can have one foot on the ground or no feet on the ground as long as the player has secured the ball. ie. A player can signal for a timeout in mid-air as long as he/she has secured the ball and signaled for the timeout before stepping out of bounds.

A player kicks a soccer ball from ground level and sends it flying at an angle of 30 degrees at a speed of 26 ms?

Rounding to the nearest tenth of a second the answer would either be 2.6 or 2.7 seconds ^^ 2.6 is the answer

How do you stop flying in Minecraft?

You either hold shift until you touch the ground or double tap space. Pressing and holding shift will lower the player until you touch ground. Once ground is touched, "flymode" is off. Also, double clicking space with cancel flying.

If a player is trying to catch a fly ball but drops it and catches it between his legs before it touches the ground is it a catch?

Yes.

If a foul hit is caught then the batter is out?

Yes. If a foul ball is caught by a defensive player before it hits the ground the batter is out.

Can the inbounding player cross the plane of the out of bounds line before making the pass if they do not touch a part of the court before passing the ball?

Yes. there are no "crossing the plane" rules in basketball. Its always about where your feet are touching the ground or where they were last touching the ground.

In football if the ball goes out of bounds and a player is inbounds and catches the ball when it is out but he isn't is it a complete pass?

The ball is not "out of bounds" unless the ball or the player who possesses it touches the ground in an out of bounds area. So in the case where the ball is in flight over the sideline, and a player who is inbounds catches it and demonstrates control before stepping out, the pass is complete.
