Minimum 6 (the size of the larger of the two sets); maximum 9 (the sum of the sizes).
A maximum!A maximum!A maximum!A maximum!
It usually is, as in maximum speed or maximum occupancy. But it can be a noun, meaning a maximum value or number, as in math or astronomy (the solar maximum).
There are 5 (not 4) parts of an elementary box and whiskers plot. From left to right, they are: minimum, lower quartile, median, upper quartile, and maximum. A more advanced version of plot is used for data containing outliers. In such cases the whiskers extend to the minimum or maximum EXCLUDING the outlier(s) and the outliers themselves are marked with Xs - beyond the scope of the whiskers.

The wire is sized to the maximum overcurrent protection device (Max circuit breaker) ampacity. This is listed on the nameplate of the outdoor condensing unit. Size the wire to match the breaker.
Assuming 208V 1 phase, 125% of the FLA, 40X 1.25 = 50, A 50 amp 2 pole breaker would be used and would be the maximum allowed by the NEC
The maximum number of overcurrent devices allowed in a panelboard should not exceed the number specified by the manufacturer's labeling or listing. This is important to ensure proper installation and safety within the panelboard. Consulting the manufacturer's guidelines or a licensed electrician can provide specific information for your panelboard.

The ozone layer provides vital protection by absorbing the majority of the Sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation, specifically UVB and UVC rays. This shield helps prevent skin cancer, cataracts, and other health issues in humans, as well as protects marine life and terrestrial ecosystems from the damaging effects of excessive UV radiation.
Conductors must have an ampacity not less than the maximum load that they are supplying.

Six feet In the United States, the NEC allows installation up to 6 feet 7 inches high. This is great information because, in my opinion, panels are often installed much too low. You do not have to use this height, but consider the convenience of finding the right breaker when something goes out.
