SMOG
Common, more common, most common. However, the word "common" in practice is all-encompassing, except that perhaps one might say "the kookaburra is more common around Sydney than it is around Cairns", thus comparing cities rather than "common".
Predict Many ancient mounments are made of marble. Some are located in highly polluted cities. How might the polution affect the monuments ?
As nomads from the east, they settled on the Levant coast and established city-states. These cities developed a culture based on their common language, religion and mutual security.
One thing that area and perimeter have in common are that they both are measurements of a shape while perimeter is the distance around and area is the measurement of space within the object or space.
common difference is the difference in every two consecutive numbers in the sequence .. or in the other way around, its the number added to a number that resulted to the next number of the sequence ..
One type of air pollution common in cities is particulate matter, which includes tiny particles from vehicle emissions, construction sites, and industrial activities. These particles can contribute to respiratory problems and reduce air quality. Other common pollutants in urban areas include nitrogen dioxide from vehicle exhaust and volatile organic compounds from various sources.
Smog is a common type of air pollution found in urban areas. It is a mix of ground-level ozone and fine particulate matter that can be harmful to human health and the environment. Smog is typically caused by vehicle emissions, industrial activities, and other combustion processes.
of course the water pollution is more............Because big cities have lots of Industries.........these wastes were mixed in air or otherwise to water...........These leads to water pollution.............
Automobiles are the common source of pollution in all these cities
Air pollution is one of the most common types of pollution, caused mainly by vehicle emissions, industrial activities, and burning of fossil fuels. It can lead to various health issues and impact the environment.
Common gases found in cities include carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and particulate matter. These gases can be produced by vehicle emissions, industrial activities, and other sources of pollution.
The physical features that many cities have in common include flat lands with many buildings. The roads are paved and there are less plants and trees around.
Actually air pollution has been less of a problem than ever. The people who suffer worst from air pollution are people who burn biomass (wood, food waste, dung) inside without proper ventilation. In cities outdoor air pollution was a problem which was made worse by industrialization. In London smog was common and deadly smogs happened every decade or so. Air pollution in most US cities peaked in the 1950's and is far less of a problem than when the first Earth Day was held in 1971.
The noun pollution is a common, mass (uncountable) noun.
Common, more common, most common. However, the word "common" in practice is all-encompassing, except that perhaps one might say "the kookaburra is more common around Sydney than it is around Cairns", thus comparing cities rather than "common".
Nope. Acid rain can occur anywhere rain falls. Though it is probably caused by cities with high industrial pollutant output, the clouds, pollutants and water could travel anywhere before falling.
In some areas it is.
