No, isosceles and equilateral are two separate types of triangles. Isosceles triangles have only two congruent sides, while all three sides of an equilateral triangle are congruent.

No necessarily, but an equilateral triangle fulfils the criteria for an isosceles triangle:

Isosceles triangle := two equal sides and two equal angles - the third angle and third side do not have to be equal to the others

equilateral triangle := all three sides are equal and all three angles are equal.

No. But I suppose an equilateral triangle is isosceles. An equilateral triangle is one with three equal sides. The requirements are less stringent for an isosceles triangle. All it needs is two equal sides and it's entitled to take the name 'isosceles', but if the third side isn't also equal to those two, then it can't join the 'equilateral' club.

No because an isosceles triangle has two equal sides but an equilateral triangle has three equal sides.

It's a triangle with congruent sides and angles. so it's 60 degrees each angle, and every side is the same length
