Not exactly, it's that they were never legal. The GBI cards are Asian-English, meaning they aren't legal at all, not to mention they have no game text, and their backs are different to other cards.
There is an 'English' print of the cards, the DOD, JUMP, YMA trio, all clearly say the cards cannot be used in a duel. The GBI versions say the same thing, just in Japanese.

No, A Number or chaos form cannot be destroyed by god cards expect by another number card, spells, or Trap cards.
That would make a bad deck, considering all that would require too many Tributes
I have the GB1 Ultra rare set, two of the GB1 secret rare set, the JMP/DOD/YMA set, and the most recent Obelisk the Tormentor from Shonen Jump.
The original print God Cards may not be used in any official Duel or tournament in the first place. However, in some Yu-Gi-Oh! video games, the God Cards can be destroyed by cards that do not target. Cards such as Mirror Force, Crush Card Virus, and Lightning Vortexwork. The above cards will also work on the Effect Monster versions of Obelisk the Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra(these two cards are tournament-legal).
Oh, dude, getting those Egyptian god cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour is like finding a needle in a haystack. You gotta duel like a champ, complete some crazy challenges, and maybe even sacrifice a few snacks to the Dueling Gods. It's a wild ride, but hey, if you're up for the challenge, go for it!
