Who discovered the inverse square law and how?

I have been trying to find out too, all I know is that Prof. John Searl either discovered or re-discovered it. I cannot find any reference to the original source of discovery, there are many conspiracy theories that are mixed up in this area because of Prof. Searl's work. It is terrible that such a physical-law is not clearly attributed to any one person or even people.. There simply is not the interest as I think too few people have the full understanding of the law to actually motivate them to trace any potential origin.

Who derived the number for pi?

The circumference of any circle divided by its diameter is always equal to pi and its exact value has never been discovered because its decimal places run into infinity and in math only an approximation of its value is used.

In rate what number is the moon in from smallest to largest in the galaxy?

Considering that the planet Pluto was not even discovered until 80 years ago, and that more than 50 moons of Jupiter have been discovered in the past 50 years, and that no planets were known outside the solar system until about 20 years ago, there is no way that we have any information to describe the population of moons in the galaxy.

Where and when was pi invented?

It was not invented but discovered by ancient mathematicians who found that the circumference of any circle when divided by its diameter is always the same ratio for any circle.
