No. It will always be regular because if we tried to make it irregular it woul be a rectangle.
I don't think that's right.. Because i was doing this math project and if a square is 'irregular' there are different ways it can be irregular..
So for example if the suare has 4 sides and one side is cut off (some of it) its not a rectangle or a square..
So the first thing that would come to your mind is... What shape is this ? (:

First of all, there's no such thing as an "irregular square". If it's irregular, then it's not a square. You'd need a complete description to find its area. Like the lengths of all the sides, or else the size of all the angles plus the length of at least one side.
