Depends what kind. here is one. x+3=10. First, draw a line down the middle of the equal sign. then you have to get the variable,x, by itself. so you subtract 3-3=0. (if its a negative number, then add Ex. -1+-1=0) then, this is the GOLDEN RULE. What ever you do to one side, you MUST do to the other. so 10-3=7. to check, plug in the answer where the variable is. 7+3=10. Hope this is helpful!

How many integers between 1 to 25 would you expect to appear in a sample of 80 trials?

A sample of 5 integers selected is shown. Does this sample represent the general rule for picking an integer from 1 to 25 in the population of integers from 1 to 1,000? Explain.

When there is as likely a chance that any one member of the population will be selected for participation in a study the sample is considered?

When there is an equal chance for each member of the population to be selected for participation in a study, the sample is considered to be a random sample. This method helps ensure that the sample is representative of the population, reducing bias and allowing for more generalizable results. Random sampling is a fundamental principle in statistical research techniques.

How do you quantify the virus in a given sample?

To quantify a virus in a sample, techniques such as quantitative PCR (qPCR) can be employed, which measures the amount of viral genetic material present. Another common method is plaque assay, where viral particles are diluted and added to a cell culture, and the number of plaques formed indicates viral concentration. Additionally, techniques like ELISA can measure viral proteins, providing another means of quantification. Each method has its own sensitivity and specificity, depending on the virus and sample type.
