In 5th grade you have the math, reading, and science taks tests but you only have to pass reading and math
You have to study as well as you can! or it wont work!
I used to live in Texas and I am guessing that this refers to the taks test i know. and i also took it in 5th. you dont have to pass it, it is just for an assesment on what the teachers taught

Here are some examples:California has STAR tests in each grade... 10th grade doesn't have a separate acronym.Florida has the FCAT.Minnesota has the MCA-11.Massachusetts has the MCAS.Georgia has the EOCT.Hawaii has the HSA.Washington State seems to let you choose whether to pass the Biology EOC test or take the WA-AIM.
