I looked up and I think you use them to draw graphs but can use them to draw straight lines.

How can one draw a straight line?

One can draw a straight line by using a ruler. Should a ruler not be available, one can use the edge of a book or another piece of paper to guide the line straight.

What should presented in a graph?

It depend what is the question of your graph. A normal graph consist an x-axis and a y-axis and the relationship is y against x. First you need to write the title, draw the axis, find a suitable scale on each axis and put a legand(which contain the information of your scale per boxes or rather 1cm or 2cm depending what type of graph paper you are using),use the table of data you have and start plotting, the line of the graph is normally draw freehand and line best fit(does not mean a straight line or must cross all the plot but a neat and nice straight or curve line) or otherwise a straight line connecting all the plot depending on type of graph you are drawing.

What are straight line?

Well a straight line is something that you use in geometry and that is what you use to measure with.

What can you use to construct triangles and rectangles?

Things you might use are a straight edge (like a ruler especially for measuring exact lengths), a protractor if you care about the exact angles you want, or something to make a arc (like a compass or string). to make a triangle draw 2 straight lines leading away from a point and then draw a line connecting the endpoints of those lines. to make a rectangle draw a line and then use a compass or marker on a string from a single point on that line to make an small arc above and below, then repeat at another point about equal away on the line making two curved X. Draw a line connecting the middle of the Xs. repeat this further down the main line. Then draw a line connecting the upper or lower Xs.

How do you draw a perpendicular line which divide a line in to equal parts?

Use a ruler to measure the line (horizontal?) and mark the middle of the line, then use a right-angle triangle to draw a vertical line 90 degrees from the mark. Or you can use a compass fitted with a pencil to draw arcs that will give the middle mark and a mark to line a ruler against to draw the perpendicular line required. Search Google for using a compass.
