P0422 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) oxygen (O2) sensor is bad!
2NH4NO3->2N2+O2+4H2O
2NaH2 + O2 yields 2Na + 2H2O
Yes. It is a prerequisite that you have a BT phoneline in order to get O2 Broadband - see below
its the O2 sensor on the driver side above the catalytic bank1 sensor 1 is the passenger side above the catalytic bank2 sensor 2 is O2 below catalytic on driver side bank1 sensor 2 is O2 below catalytic on Passenger side
the upstream O2 sensor is directly below thethe exhaust manifold flanges, above the catalytic converter. The downstream O2 sensor is in the exhaust pipe. Disconnect the electrical connectors and screw it out
The correct way to write oxygen is O2. The 2 should be subscripted.
From what I have come to understand there are four o2 sensors, two on each side of the vehicle running from the exhaust manifolds. Each side has one o2 sensor before and one o2 sensor after the catalytic converter, therefore two o2 sensors on each side for a grand total of four. They are titled as such: Left side 1:1 refers to the o2 sensor above the catalytic converter also known as the upstream sensor. 1:2 refers to the o2 sensor below the catalytic converter aslo known as the downstream sensor Right side 2:2 refers to the o2 sensor above the catalytic converter also known as the upstream sensor. 2:2 refers to the o2 sensor below the catalytic converter aslo known as the downstream sensor
The scientific way to write oxygen is "O2". This symbol represents two oxygen atoms bonded together in a diatomic molecule.
BAnk one sensor one is above the cat on the back exhaust manifold. Sensor two is below the cat.
The upstream are located just below the manifold and above the mini cats the downstream ones are locted below the mini cats. There are different numbers of snesor depedning on whether you have a California emmission or standard model.
2HgO------->2Hg+O2
Just below firewall on exhaust pipe.
I'm not entirely sure but an unbalanced equation is: Mg + O2 -----> MgO
