I’ve heard mixed things about Sylvan. It definitely works for some kids, but it’s pricey and requires a big time commitment. If your kid needs a structured, in-person tutor, it could help, but I’d say check reviews at your local center first. For us, we wanted something more flexible, so we tried Beestar. It’s online, way more affordable even free for core subjects, and still keeps my kid on track with weekly math practice. If you’re looking for something less intense but still effective, it’s worth checking out!
