Not sure about "parellel" but a quadrangle with two pairs of parallel lines MUST be a parallelogram.
To compare, they both have a set of parellel sides and they each have four sides t its shape. To contrast, a trapezoid only has two sides with the same length, while a parellelogram has two sets of equal sides. * * * * * A trapezoid need not have any sides of equal length: only an isosceles one does. For a very crude graphic, see below (ignoring the dots that are just for spacing): ______ |...........\ |______\
Yes, it does. A rhombus is the same shape as what young children call a 'diamond', which has two sets of parallel lines that are opposite each other. Hope that helped
Actually, a rhombus has two pairs of parallel sides.
Trapezoid
The correct spelling is "parallelogram" (quadrilateral with two sets of parallel sides).
