yes you would have to because that would be the full course of algebra just at a slower and easier pace

you don't but to become a licensed cosmetologist you need an understanding of 1st year algebra to get your license. I know because I've tutored many of them to help prepare for what is usually the hardest part of the exam.

A term is a single part of an expression or of an equation in algebra.
To do WELL in Algebra 2, you will need to remember part of Algebra 1. However, your teacher should go over part of Algebra 1. I did poorly in Algebra 1, though Algebra 2 now makes sense to me simply because I needed to understand it to understand Algebra 2, and I was able to infer the things that I was unsure of.
