Suppose the two digit number is AB,

Then AB*C = A*C + B*C

Thus, 24*3 = 20*3 + 4*3 = 60 + 12 = 72

What is the property that allows you to regroup numbers when adding or multiplying the terms without changing the outcome?

Associative Property

What is it when adding three numbers and regrouping gives the same sum?

It is a result of the associative property of numbers. It is a result of the associative property of numbers. It is a result of the associative property of numbers. It is a result of the associative property of numbers.

Division of whole numbers is associative?

No it is not an associative property.

What is the definition of assocative property of multiplication?

The associative property definition is this : you can group two numbers multiply them together then multiply that product by the other number. For example (3x3)x3=27 so basically all the associative property is about is grouping the numbers in different ways and making the problem faster and easier depending on what numbers you are multiplying. Hope that makes it easier 

Does the associative property work with any numbers?

No.

Why can associative property be useful?

The associative property in algebra is important for organization of numbers. Rearranging the numbers and parenthesis will not change values but instead make the equation more convenient.

The property that shows that numbers can be regrouped when being added or multiplied without changing their value?

The associative property. It works separately for addition and for multiplication.

What property allows the grouping of numbers in parentheses to change without changing the answer?

That would be the associative property. The associative property applies to addition and multiplication, but not to subtraction or division.

What is Associative Property?

The addition or multiplication of a set of numbers is the same regardless of how the numbers are grouped. The associative property will involve 3 or more numbers. The parenthesis indicates the terms that are considered one unit. The groupings (Associative Property) are within the parenthesis. Hence, the numbers are 'associated' together. In multiplication, the product is always the same regardless of their grouping. The Associative Property is pretty basic to computational strategies. Remember, the groupings in the brackets are always done first, this is part of the order of operations.

What is a way to remember the properties of math?

All i know is how to remember associative property. In associative property you can have the parentheses in between any numbers and it will be the same answer.

What is associative property of mltiplication?

The Associative Property in math is how the numbers are associated; ex. 2*(3*4) is the same as (2*3)*4.

What is the associative property of 16 x 6?

16x6 cannot have the associative property. The associative property requires two [identical] operations, applied to 3 variables. There are not enough operations nor variables/numbers in the question.
