∙ 14y agoI am not sure what you mean by "Use pi for p?", but anyway, the volume of a cylinder is calculated by first calculating the area of the base (the circle), then multiplying this result by the height. Also, an "exact" answer is not possible since the result for pi is an irrational number that goes on indefinitely.
Having said that, a practicle answer is 226.285714285714285714 cm3 (the .285714 repeating ad infinitum). I arrived at this result using 22/7 as the value of pi, rather than 3.14.......
