∙ 13y agoCenti of anything is a 100th of that thing eg, one centimetre is 100th of a metre. A centigram would be 100th of gram, ie 0.01g. So there are 100 centigrams in one gram.
100 centigrams = 1 gram 1 centigram = 1/100 gram = 0.01 grams
0.01 g
hectogram = 100 grams centigram = one hundredth (10) of a gram

A kilogram is bigger than a centigram. There are 100 centigrams in a gram, and 1000 grams in a kilogram.

100 grams. That is what "centi" means: 100. * * * * * Centi may mean 100 but in this context, it means one hundredth! So, 1 centigram = 0.01 gram (or one hundredth of a gram).
2900 centigrams equals 29 grams. To convert centigrams to grams, divide by 100 since there are 100 centigrams in 1 gram.
