How is elementary algebra different from algebra 1 or 2?

It isn't; the algebra 1 and 2 that you get taught in middle or high school is elementary algebra. When (if you want to) you get into more advanced algebra, you can learn linear algebra (matrix algebra) and abstract algebra (which involves sets, operations on sets, groups, and many more concepts), and probably several more types of algebra I've never heard of.

What is the connection of boolean algebra into computers?

The connection stems from the fact that in Boolean logic binary numbers are used and these are used in computers as well. That reminds of a joke you may have heard. There are only 10 kinds of people: -those who understand binary; -those who don't

What is causation in algebra?

Here's a somewhat uneducated take:In mathematics, there is algebra in the sense of solving quadratic equations, but in higher level mathematics, there are various kinds of "algebras", which are really totally different from what we normal people call algebra. The name algebra comes from Arabic words meaning "a method for putting together"; in other words, some kind of logical system for figuring things out. If you've heard of Boolean algebra, you have an idea of how it's completely different from "Algebra I", but it is a system for figuring out logic problems. Now if you have worked with graphs of say frequency of lung cancer and tobacco smoking, you may think that the graph shows that smoking causes lung cancer. Actually it just shows there is a correlation between smoking and lung cancer. Maybe there is a gene which makes people want to smoke, and also causes lung cancer ... then it is the gene that causes both of them. So this is what the causation part is about. If you're way ahead of me, then enter "causation in algebra" into your search engine of choice, and knock yourself out on philosophy, teleology, and stuff. Thanks for asking!

Who was the famous mathematician who contributed in the development of algebra?

The most famous contributor to the development of algrebra was Algy Bra, the greatest mathematician to ever come from Ingusiare, a country you have never heard of because it is so underground. I shouldn't be telling you this - I wlll be dismissed from the Star Kid Chicken Wing Club, which I don't expect you to get the reference to. In fact, I have concluded that this information is classified and I cannot help you. Farewell, fellow warrior, and good luck.
