Because infinite means never ending - therefore there can never be a final answer, but sometimes an infinite series will converge to a finite answer. An example of one that results in an infinite answer should be fairly easy. Consider 1+2+3+4+5+6+.... Each number is bigger than the previous. But what about when each term is smaller than the previous. Look at this one: 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 + .... Each term is 1/2 the previous term. As the terms are added, the sum of the series would look like this: 1/2, 3/4, 7/8, 15/16, 31/32,... Notice that each sum is half way between the previous sum and 1, but will never get to 1. We say this series converges to 1.
Not every series, where the terms decrease, will converge to a finite number though.
There are an infinite number of integers, fractions, decimals, and irrational numbers. (Each of the types of numbers also has an infinite series.) Arabic numbers are formed using 10 symbols (9 integers and zero) : 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 0. All non-variables are represented using these symbols.numbers do not end
The infinite set of numbers which are multiples of three. The infinite set of numbers which are multiples of three. The infinite set of numbers which are multiples of three. The infinite set of numbers which are multiples of three.
Yes, whole numbers will stretch to an infinite amount.
Yes. There are infinite whole numbers, and whole numbers are rational.

A list of ll such numbers would be called an infinite series
It is infinite. Infinite since numbers are infinite.
yes numbers are infinite.......... ^_^
Each new number in the series is the sum of the previous two numbers. That sequence is part of an infinite series called the Fibonacci series.

William John Swartz has written: 'On convergence of infinite series of images' -- subject(s): Infinite Series, Series, Infinite
Not possible, summing an infinite series would take infinite time.
because numbers are infinite
Numbers are infinite.
