Decimals are offten hard to deal with because they are like the opossite of a number. If you have two numbers and they both don't have or have the same whole number in front( on the left of the decimal) then compare the first one to theright then the one after then after...(to the right) until you find that one of the # of one of the decimal is bigger than the other.
ex. .5678 and .5679
we see that the first three digits to the decimal side are the same but the one on the left has a bigger last decimal than the one on the right so it must be bigger
