Hi,
I was having trouble finding it myself but its pretty easy once you know and so for your benefit (and mine, lol) here's how.
1) Sign up (you need to do this to get the reminder)
2) Click on 'Favourites'
3) From here: http://www.yourtv.com.au/guide/favourites/
4) Type in the title (letter by letter, slowly) and the show should appear in a list. Click the show
5) Click ADD
6) In your new 'Favourite shows' List, click ALERT ME!
7) Click (to tick) the left hand box which states "email me (15) minutes before.
8 Click SAVE
9) Click OK
Good news pertaining to step 7 is that you can change the bracketed number.
I suggest signing up to MSN or keeping your email open so that you get the notification right away and can prepare to watch the show!
I did it last night with soooo many shows and didn't miss any of them while I worked on my assessments.
Good Luck,
Mark B.
You set the 10 minute timer for 9 minutes and the 7 minute timer for the full 7 minutes.
A timer basically does an action every x milliseconds, this could be used to create a stopwatch function. You can set the delay time in the properties box for the object, bear in mind that you put the delay in milliseconds.
Set a timer for five minutes. Think of something you'd spend writing for at least that long. Start the timer and start typing until it beeps. Stop. Count your words. Divide by five.
A tv.. if its proper LCD tv.. not that cellphone tv..
A Positive!
If the TV is working when you want to watch it, then the chances are that someone's set the sleep timer. That's a reminder light. If it isn't working, then that's `flash code' letting a qualified technician know what's wrong with the set.
Yes, this television can be set to turn on and off using the timer function. Just set the time in the menu.
You most likely have some kind of automatic timer set on the television. You need to change the settings of the timer.
If you have a DVR box you can't set reminders.... you can only record shows. On the NON DVR boxes you can set reminders.
Yes the TV does feature a sleep timer mode, that will turn off the TV after a set amount of time.
It depends what you mean by 'restrict'. Many TV's come with a built-in timer - to switch the set off (and on) when you want it to. I doubt you'll find a TV set that you can actually restrict the operating times. The only alternative I could think of - would be an external timer - with a locked box surrounding it !
You have probably accidently set a timer to come on. You need to get your owners manual and lookup 'timers'.
Look through the options page/menu whatever its called and just look through it
Most TV's today have this feature. Since I can not know what brand you have I am going to suggest you look in two areas to find this setting. If you go into settings on your remote you should find a timer setting. Go into that and set the timer for the time you want to get up. The other spot where you may find this is in the tools menu. Again you would go into the timer and set the time for the TV to come on. Once set it works well. I use to have my TV do this.
To turn on the timer on a Samsung Smart TV use your remote to look under the tools menu. Click on timer and select your preferences.
what does the microwave timer told me it was time to turn my TV dinner mean
The timer might be engaged. look into the menu for a timer setting and turn it off.
