Here's a step by step... remember you have to first ISOLATE the variable n.

355 = 60 + 2.50n

I will subtract 60 from both sides.. because what I do to one side I have to do to the other.

295 = 2.50n

I will divide 2.50 from both sides... because it is the opposite of multiplication (since 2.50 is being multiplied by n)

As a result, I will be left with:

n = 118.
