You can change a fraction into a decimal by dividing.

example: 1/2=2devided by1 = 0.5

Changing back is...

example: because there is one digit before the decimal point you go and change it to 5/10. If there was two digits like 0.05, it wouldn't been 5/100. Then you just simplify it.
