There are two steps.
First, divide the number by 10. This changes the length to units of centimeter instead of millimeter.
Next, if there is a zero to the right of the decimal point, simply remove it and you have your new figure. If there is a digit other than zero, the number needs to be rounded. If the digit is between 1 and 4, the final value is rounded down by removing the decimal digit. If it between 5 and 9, the final value is rounded up by removing the decimal digit and adding 1 to the value.
90. mm
divide the mm by 10 to get cm and miltiply for other way around
It is 3. 0 mm or 0. 3 cm or 0. 003 m
Divide it by 10 and so 75 mm = 7.5 cm
To change cm to mm, simply multiply by 10. 46*10=460 mm
90. mm
divide the mm by 10 to get cm and miltiply for other way around
mm divided by 10 = cm
It is 3. 0 mm or 0. 3 cm or 0. 003 m
You divide the number of millimeters by 10.
Divide it by 10 and so 75 mm = 7.5 cm
To change cm to mm, simply multiply by 10. 46*10=460 mm
Multiply by 10 since 1 cm = 10 mm. 184 cm = 1840 mm.
1 cm = 10 mm e.g. 12 cm = ?? mm Ans: 12*10 = 120 mm cm=centimetre mm=millimetre
4.75 cm equals 47.5 mm. There are 10 mm in 1 cm. So you multiply 4.75 * 10.
You multiply (by 10) when changing from centimetres/cm to millimetres/mm.
divide by 10 1 cm = 10 mm 1 mm = 0.1 cm
