Degrees F = (Degrees C * 9/5) +32

Degrees C = (Degrees F - 32) * (5/9)

An easy way to derive these formulas is to recall two easy points:

0° C = 32° F

100° C = 212° F

These are the freezing and boiling points of water--trivially easy to remember in Celsius. With these two points we can solve as a system of simultaneous equations.
Use these two formulas:

C=5/9 x (Fahrenheit-32)

F=(9/5 x Celsius) + 32 (Brackets not needed but inserted for comparison with the previous equation.)
