It's not too complicated....the main rule to remember is the numerator must always be 1. Also, you cannot use the same fraction twice. For instance, when writing the modern fraction 2/3 you would think that you would write 1/3+1/3 but because of the rules, it has to be 1/2+1/6. It s mostly just finding ways of writing the fraction that have numerators of 1!x
