"Radian" is a distance. "Revolution per minute" is a speed. Those two units

measure different quantities, and they don't convert into each other.

It'll help to know that 1 revolution is (2 pi) radians.

So "one revolution per minute" is "2 pi radians per minute", etc.

A Ferris wheel has a radius of 25 feet The wheel is rotating a 2 revolutions per minute Find the linear speed in feet per minute of the seat on this Ferris wheel?

1 revolution = 2PI radian. 2 revolutions = 4PI radian The angular speed of the Ferris wheel is 4PI radians . Multiply by the radius. The linear speed is 100PI feet per minute.

A wheel is revolving at steady rate of 120 revolution per minute its angular velocity in radians per second is closest to?

actually 1revolution=360 degrees, then 120 revolutions=360*120 (degrees)=43200degrees now degrees to radian is simple 43200 degrees=43200*PI/180=240pi radians now we can write as 120 revolution/minute=240pi radians/minute to convert minute into sec we multiply by 60 so as min is in denominator so we sill devide it by 60, 120 revolution/minute=240pi/60 radians/sec=4pi ans = 4pi

What is the angular velocity of the minute hand?

The angular velocity of the minute hand can be calculated as 2π radians divided by the time it takes to complete one full revolution, which is 60 minutes. Therefore, the angular velocity of the minute hand is π/30 radians per minute.

How to Convert revolution per minute to metres per minute?

You cannot. Revolutions per minute are a measure of angular velocity whereas metres per minute are a measure of linear velocity. There is no simple way to convert from one to the other. For example, at any given rpm, a point on the rim of a wheel is moving much faster than a point near the hub. You need the distance of a point from the axis of revolution (in metres) to convert angular speed to linear speed. If the distance from the centre is r metres then the point moves through 2*pi*r metres every revolution. ie 1 rpm = 2*pi*r linear metres per minute.
