Depends on what information you've been provided.
If you've been provided the BASE and the HEIGHT/altitude, you can find the area of any type of triangle (equilateral, isosceles, scalene) by using this formula:
A = 1/2 bh
If you've been provided the HEIGHT ONLY, you can still find the area because it's an equilateral triangle. Simply divide it into two 30-60-90 triangles and find the short side of one of them by dividing the height (the long side of the triangle) by √3. Multiply that number by 2 to find the length of the base, then use the above formula.
If you've been provided with the SIDE, the same principles of 30-60-90 triangles apply. You can use the formula below:
A = (S2 √3) /4
If you've been provided the APOTHEM, use the following formula:
1/2 ap (where a is the apothem and p is perimeter)
This formula works for all regular polygons.
Turn the triangle into a square work out the area for that then half your answer ---- For an equilateral triangle, use the formula 1/2 x base x perpendicular height to work out the area.
An equilateral 1 inch triangle is a plane figure and it does not have a cross-sectional area in any meaningful sense, just an area. Its area is 0.43 = sqrt(3)/4 square inches.
equilateral triangle
If an equilateral triangle and a square have equal perimeters, then the ratio of the area of the triangle to the area of the square is 1:3.
Perimeter of equilateral triangle: 24 units Area of equilateral triangle: 27.713 square units rounded to three decimal places
An equilateral triangle
Area of Equilateral Triangle A= S2 * (Root 3)/4, where A= Area of the triangle S= Side of the triangle.

A triangle has area, not volume.
Equilateral triangle ,acute triangle
An isosceles triangle is a triangle with at least 2 equal sides (and 2 equal angles).
Find the area of an equilateral triangle if its perimeter is 18 ft
Area = 1443.376 cm2
