There's a couple of ways to go around and do this.
If you have a calculator handy, you can multiply 15 by 0.2.
You can always solve percentages by dividing the percentage by 100 (which is the same as shifting the decimal two places to the right).
After that, multiply the number you want the percentage of by the result of that division.
15 times 0.2 = 3
You can also divide 100 by 20, which you'll find is 5.
Then, divide 15 by 5 (the number you just found).
15 divided by 5 = 3.
Multiply by 15/100 So in this case, 20*15/100 = 3
15 = 1500% 20 = 2000%
if 15% is 60 then 5% is 20 and there is sixteen 5% in 80% so 16x20=320
3/15 (3 divided by 15) = 0.2To convert a decimal to a percent, multiply by 100: 0.2 x 100 = 20%
Percent refers to a fraction with 100 as denominator.So 15% = 15/100 = 3/20.
percent is out of 100 so 20% is 20/100 which is 0.2. To find 20% you would multiply 15 by 0.2. 15*0.2=3
Divide 15 by 20 to find 1% and times this by 100 to find 100% which is 75
To find 3 percent of a number, multiply the number by 0.03. In this instance, 0.03 x 20 = 0.6. Therefore, 3 percent of 20 is equal to 0.6.
3/20
Multiply by 15/100 So in this case, 20*15/100 = 3
.2 x 75 = 15
First find 15% of 20: 20 * 0.15 = 3 OR 20 * (15/100) = 3 Then subtract the 15% from 20: 20 - 3 = 17 Answer: 17.00
15 = 1500% 20 = 2000%
20 plus 15 percent = 23
if 15% is 60 then 5% is 20 and there is sixteen 5% in 80% so 16x20=320
15% of 20 = 3
15% of 20= 15% * 20= 0.15 * 20= 3
