to find the sum of an interior angle...

FOR EXAMPLE: if you had a triangle, the total amount of degrees would be 180 degrees. now you must divide that from the number of sides...

180 divided by 3 = 60 so 1 interior angle would be 60 degrees

therefore, one EXTERIOR angle would be 120 degrees because 60 + 120 = 180 degrees or a straight line
