If you have the radius of the circle then just plug it into the equation which is
pi x r2
This equation is used to find the area of a circle
So if your radius is 5 then all you do is 52 and then multiply by pi
Hope that helps.

"Semi-circle" means half circle; so you just need to calculate the area of the corresponding full circle, and divide the result by 2.
just use the area formula ex... area of circle= pi(r square) if you know what your area is then plug it in then do PI / by area that will be your diameter to get the radius / your answer by 2
IT'S REALLY SIMPLE first you have to know the normal area of a circle which is A=πr2 (squared) then you just have to divide this by 2 so.. you just have to find the area then divide your answer by 2.
Pi is related to the area of a circle because it just is. It is closely related to it in math, and to find the circumference (PI 3.14), you must know the area or the diameter.
im assuming your circle has a diameter of 1/4 inches to find sq in just find the area since the area is the definition of square inches. area = (3.14159) * (.252) = 0.196349375sq in
The area of a circle is Pi(3.1416)*radius2 if you do not have the radius, it is just half of the diameter.

The area of a circle is pi x r2 So you just have to find the radius of your circle, which is the radius of your golf ball. Then substitute it into the area of a circle formula as above.

Well, darling, a semicircle is half of a circle, so to find the area you just take the area of a full circle and divide it by 2. The formula for the area of a circle is πr^2, so for a 10cm semicircle, you'd calculate it as 0.5 * π * 5^2, which gives you an area of 39.27 square centimeters. Voilà!
πr² is the formula for finding the area of a circle. To find the area of a semicircle just divide the answer by two. So take the radius, square it, which in this case would be 100, multiply it by π [pi (3.14)] and divide it by two.
The area of any circle is (pi) x (radius)2 .The area of half the circle is just half of that number.
Yes, it is the same thing.Finding the square (unit of measure) is just like finding the area of a circle. You find it just like how you find area (3.14 x radius squared).
if area of square is Z area of largest circle just fit inside
