It appears as if you already know the base.

How can you find the height of a triangle if you only have the base?

You can't! If the base is the only side you know, you'll need two angles to define the triangle entirely

How do you find the area of a triangle if you know the height and base?

You multiply the height and base then divide by 2.

What information do you have to know to find the area of a triangle?

You need to know the base and height of the triangle. Once you found these multiply together and divide by two.

Why is it important to know the area of a triangle?

The area of a triangle is b X h ( = the base of the triangle multiplied by the perpendicular height from the base). This can help you out in life if you are a very good mathematician and the question occurs.

What is the equation to find the base of a triangle?

That's going to depend on how much you know about the other parts of the triangle. For example, if you know the area and the height, then Base = (double the area) divided by (height). If you don't know anything about the other parts to calculate the base with, then you just have to measure it.

How do you find length of base if you already know the area of triangle?

You will need to know the height before you can calculate the base form the area.

Area of a triangle with base of 26.5 and perpendicular height of 35m?

Answer:We know that the area of the triangle is ½ *breadth *height.Given: The height of the triangle is 35 m and the base of the triangle is 26.5Therefore the area = ½ (26.5*35)= ½ (927.5)= 463.75Source: www.icoachmath.com

Can you find the base and height measurements for a triangle if you know its 22 square units?

No

Suppose you know the perimeter and the height of an equilateral triangle explain how you would find the area of the triangle.?

The base is one third of the perimeter, half of the base times the height is the area.
