You can do this on adobe photoshop. I used CS5 because it is the easiest. First take a 2D picture and open it in photoshop. Then rename the layer to Layer ____, instead of Background. Now, duplicate the layer so there are two layers of the same image. Hide the first layer (the top layer) and click on the second. Click Edit>Transform>Perspective and pull the top left corner up just a little bit and press enter. Then view the first layer and do the same thing, except pull the top right corner up about the same distance. Now, using the mouse tool, drag the picture on the first layer to the right. Hide that layer and do the same with the second, except drag it left. Use the crop tool and only take the middle portion. Now, double click on the first layer, and uncheck the "R" and press enter. You should see an anaglyph image. Wear cyan and red 3D glasses and adjust the image accordingly. (for best results, keep the red on the right eye)

This is a total matter of opinon. 3D gives better graphics, but 2D is easier to draw or make.
2D, a cube would be 3D
You should need a third-party software: 2d to 3d converter. Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate is the best 2D to 3D Converter which can help you to convert 2D to 3D with ease!
The suffix "hedron" implies 3D. The 2D suffix is "gon"
2D is an image drawn in the X, and Y dimensions. 3D is an image drawn in the X, Y, and Z dimensions, however most often what is referred to as 3D is a 2D simulation of 3D.

2D image quality on 3D televisions is usually very similar to that of other televisions. It is the 3D quality that can let down a television. If you are planning on buying 3D television, make sure you experience several makes and models and in both 3D and 2D. Knowing which is your preferred model is a good investment of your time.
No, a scanning electron microscope (SEM) produces 2D images. However, by acquiring a series of 2D images at different angles and reconstructing them using specialized software, a 3D image can be generated.

A television set is a 3D shape. The image (picture) on the television screen is a 2D shape. 3D is when it has length, width, and height. 2D is only length and width.
A flat projection of a 3D image is called a 2D representation or a 2D drawing. It is commonly used to visualize and communicate complex 3D shapes and structures in a more easily understandable format.
It is called a net image
this happens because you are taking a 3D image to a 2D image
Some 3D televisions offer a 3D simulation feature. It attempts to create a depth from a 2D image and is often not realistic. It is best to treat such a feature as a bonus rather than relying on it to deliver good 3D from any content. As with regular 3D content, make sure you view the 3D simulation before making a purchase and don't be surprised to find that it is not as good as real 3D.
2D images and 3D models don't correlate as a 2D image has only 1 face. Whereas a 3D image can be manipulated through a 360 perspective. To cut a long story short, you would need to render an image from start to finish as a 3D model. You could use the 2D image as something to guide you.Try Autocad's 3Ds Max, however if you pay for it you will find it's expensive... Though I won't go into any other ways of obtaining it.Hope this helps
LG 3D TV has 2D to 3D conversion. The process generates a simulated 3D image from 2D content. It is important to remember that simulated 3D is not true 3D and will not be as realistic as genuine 3D content. More than one manufacturer offers simulated 3D. It is best to consider this a bonus feature rather than one on which to make a buying decision.
