The hub will need to be removed and the stud pressed or drilled out to be replaced.
Notice there are two threaded holes in the brake drum. Insert a metric bolt into the holes and tighten until the drum pops off. Replace the stud.
Yes, replace it every 50,000 miles.
Front or rear?? 4x4 or 4x2??
chachange oil pan gasket 1998 ford f-150 4.6 L 4x4

Replace upper and lower ball joints. Not hard, but time consuming.
How do you remove a front rotor on a 1993 F 150 4X4
You should be able to unscrew it and replace it. Some pointers are to coat the stud in PB blaster or liquid wrench and let it sit. Then thread two nuts onto the stud, tighten them against each other and wrench on the inside nut to try and loosen the stud. You can also try a big pair of vise-grips.
I believe the TM 4x4 has diff locks and has the same 10 stud axles. maybe someone can confirm this
need to know where the stud is and what it is fastening.... soak it overnight with liquidwrench or mystery oil, then use vise grips. If stud is broke off flush, drill and use an ez-out. Be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you soak it first!!! I think you are talking about a wheel stud? If it's 4wd spin the hub assembly until it lines up with the holes in the back of the assembly (this gives room to pound it out). Next find a 5lbs short sledge hammer. Make sure the hub won't spin and pound the stud out. To install the new stud put it through the hub hole and get it started. Place washers over the other end and also the lug nut. Tighten the lug nut and as it puts pressure on the washers it will pull the stud through. -Hope that helps-
well on my 01 zr2 blazer. its because it has a broken wheel stud on the left front. i don't know if that's your problem but that definatly makes the creak.
