First, use the correct combination and unlock the suitcase. Behind the combination wheels, you will see a small orange slider with positions A and B. It should be in position A (up). With the original correct combination showing, move the orange slider to position B (down). Set the new 3 digit combination you want to change to. Move the orange slider back to position A (up.) Your new combination should be set now.
If you have forgotten the code to your suitcase's combination lock, you can either use a hammer and screwdriver to disengage the latch, or if you have an immense amount of patience, you can set the dials to 0-0-0 and increment them, one digit at a time, until the lock opens. If you are quick and agile, you may be able to open the lock in ten to twenty minutes, however, if it is a four or five digit lock, it might take you several days to a week.
the first wheel has 8 possibilities. the second wheel has only 7 possibilities as it cannot be the same as the first. the third wheel has 6 possibilities and the last has only 5 possibilities. 8*7*6*5=1680
The answer to this is 9,999. Easy cuz 9999 is the last 4 digit number. (What ru trying to open a suitcase cuz u forgot the password lol (or ru a thief rofl).
maximum of 1000 combinations (10X10X10). Work with one lock and set it to read 000 . Count upward to 1000 by "ones". As you turn combination dial up with one hand, test if lock opens with other hand. Takes about 5 minutes and hopefully both locks are same combination.

Samsonite luggage locks are similar to cheap locks on a gas cap and can be opened with a little time and patience. The only thing you will need for this project is a drill and a 1/8 inch drill bit. Place drill bit inside lock hole and apply plenty of pressure to cut the metal. Once you have reached the core of the lock hole it will disengage the locking mechanism.
