How do you solve this linear system 8x-4y equals 3 and 5x plus 2y equals 3?

8x = 4y + 3 x = 0,5y + 3/8


We fill this out in the second formula:


5(0,5y + 3/8) +2y = 3
4,5y = 3 - 15/8
y = 2/3 - 15/36 = 24/36 - 15/36 = 9/36 = 1/4
X = 1/8 *1+3 = 1/2
